At Avenor College, we believe that some of the best learning experiences for our students can also occur outside the confines of the classroom in order to create framework for children to express their creativity and use their imagination, develop learning through experimentation, and step out of their comfort zone.
The “Learning Outside the Classroom” (LOTC) programme starts from an early age. Teachers plan age-appropriate trips closely linked with curricular themes (Art Museum, Paper Factory, Zoo, Listening walks, and Japanese Garden, etc.), co-curricular activities or events (Book Days, Career Week, Learning Expeditions etc.).
