Grade 11 Form Tutor


I remember with great appreciation my brilliant teachers and with gratitude and excitement those teachers who influenced me spiritually. Subjects to be learned in school are a raw, necessary matter, that any teacher can access, but the emotional connection is the vital element in education. I believe that a real teacher teaches the students first from the heart and then from the book.

The teaching profession needs boldness, confidence in a better future, permanently searching for something new, being grounded in reality, originality in its pursuit, innovation and discovery, and I believe that these are also characteristics of my personality.

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bucharest, majoring in German and Spanish, the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest and of “Vasile Alecsandri” National College in Galati, Mathematics and Computer Science profile, English bilingual.

I started my career as a teacher at a foreign language center, where I taught both German and English classes. I've been working with students of all ages, ranging from 4 year-olds to adults, developing my ability to make my courses engaging, but also extremely useful, depending on the age of the students. I have been part of Avenor College for a year already and I want to stay with these wonderful students, helping them achieve their highest aspirations.

My third year at Avenor begins with a new challenge for me, being the Form Tutor for Grade 11. I know that this is a big responsibility on my shoulders, because this year my students will have to choose, if they have not already chosen, their specialised subjects and take the first steps towards them, but at the same time I am convinced that together we will find the best solutions. I will be by their side throughout this journey and I wish to become a support for each of my students and together to create a united team based on friendship, trust, and respect.
