The members of the Avenor College community – students, parents and teachers – are constantly involved in charitable projects, cultivating empathy and generosity, values \u200b\u200bthat are important to us.<\/p>\n

Over time, charity projects organised by our school’s parents and pupils were developed in partnership with charitable organisations such as World Vision Romania, Fundatia Inim\u0103 de Copil or D\u0103ruie\u0219te Via\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

World Vision Rom\u00e2nia<\/strong><\/h4>

During the three years of partnership with World Vision Romania, we have included the charitable component in organizing two of the events dedicated to our community: Avenor Forest Run – a sports event organised at the beginning of the school year in B\u0103neasa Forest – and Cultural Celebration Day – the biggest charity event organised by our community of parents at the end of the school year. During the three years of partnership with World Vision Romania, we have included the charitable component in organizing two of the events dedicated to our community: Avenor Forest Run – a sports event organised at the beginning of the school year in B\u0103neasa Forest – and Cultural Celebration Day – the biggest charity event organised by our community of parents at the end of the school year. The amount donated by Avenor College exceeds 52,000 lei, funds used to support the project \u201eI want to go to Grade 9\u201d and help children from disadvantaged communities to continue their high school studies.<\/p>\n<\/small> <\/path><\/svg><\/a><\/div><\/div>

Christmas charity fair<\/strong><\/h4>

Our high school students organise an annual Christmas Charity Fair. In the winter of 2019, they raised 40,000 lei for the project of D\u0103ruie\u0219te Via\u021b\u0103, which is building an oncology hospital for children. In 2017 and 2018, the donations of 50,000 lei, collected by high school students, arrived at Fundatia Inim\u0103 de Copil to support the project \u201cOne village, one child\u201d, a monthly scholarship …<\/p><\/div>

The educational and charity partnership with Ferdinand 1st School began in the school year 2017-2018 with a generous gesture of our Grade 7 students who donated to Ferdinand students books in Romanian and English. Afterwards, a group of middle school students visited our school and joined our students in several activities.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Lost & Found<\/strong><\/h4>
<\/div>

At Avenor Nursery, it has become a tradition to organise a charity corner called \u201cLost & Found\u201d. The purpose of this action is to donate clothing items unclaimed by parents. Other nursery events that have a charitable component include Friendship Week and Book Days, during which parents are encouraged to donate toys and books.
