Internal Students – Re-Enrolment Under Exceptional Circumstances

Avenor College upholds high academic and behavioural expectations for student progression. The school recognises, however, that exceptional or unforeseen circumstances may temporarily affect a student’s ability to meet the established Progression Criteria.

In such cases, to ensure fairness while maintaining the integrity of academic standards, students who have not met the Progression Criteria may be considered for re-enrolment in the following academic year, provided that there are compelling exceptional circumstances. Parents who wish to request consideration under this provision must contact the Learning Leadership Team (LLT) to initiate the application process.

Decisions regarding re-enrolment under this provision are made by the Learning Leadership Team, based on a thorough review of each individual case. Where re-enrolment is approved, it will be formalised through a contractual agreement outlining the specific educational pathway and the support measures that the school can provide, in accordance with the student’s particular circumstances.

PROCEDURE FOR INDUCTION OF NEW STUDENTS

PROCEDURE FOR TRANSFERRING CLASSES

PROCEDURE FOR CLASS FORMATION

ANNEX 1 – Admission flow

ANNEX 2 – New students induction Policy

Date: 24.06.2021

Reviewed:

14.10.2025

Document in force:

15.10.2025

To be revised:

Oct 2028

AVENOR COLLEGE ADMISSION POLICY 1.
