{"id":31483,"date":"2023-06-21T06:19:47","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T06:19:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/?p=31483"},"modified":"2023-06-29T12:37:49","modified_gmt":"2023-06-29T12:37:49","slug":"thank-you-to-our-partners-for-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/en\/blog\/thank-you-to-our-partners-for-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Thank you to our Partners for the Future!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">105 high school students are currently enjoying one of the most exciting learning experiences of the school year &#8211; the Internship Program &#8211; which offers them the opportunity to have internships in companies in their fields of interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this experience, which complements the academic program, students have the chance to explore their passions in an attempt to validate potential career options.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The objective of the program is to prepare students for life after Avenor and provide them with interesting and challenging opportunities by experiencing real work environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, with the support of the parent community and internship partners, our students are benefiting from internships in their areas of interest: Interior Design, Architecture, IT, Marketing, Banking, Film, Law, Business, PR, Management, Branding, Medicine, Entrepreneurship, Education, Hospitality Industry, Biomedicine, Finance, Engineering, Fashion, Sports, Theatre, Construction, Journalism, International Relations, Real Estate, and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-31476 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/cristina-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"338\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/cristina-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/cristina-1030x1030.png 1030w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/cristina-80x80.png 80w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/cristina-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/cristina.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/>&#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, our thanks go to ACE Project Management, Aparterre Shop, Asocia\u021bia Go-Ahead, Tudor Lucaciu &amp; Castel Film Studios, Asocia\u021bia Deci Se Poate, Eau de Web, Enso Design, Filgud, Helenic Cables, IB Cargo, KPMG, Maison de Cr\u00eapes, Muzeul Fotbalului, Neuroaxis, Biroul de avocatur\u0103 Nipaa &#8211; Negoi\u021b\u0103, Iancu \u0219i Panaitescu, Oxygen, Picktwo, Laboratoarele Regina Maria, Symbold Studio, Surf Cafe, Teatrul Na\u021bional Bucure\u0219ti, Wellborn and [Yellow Car].<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, we are delighted that this year we managed to organize an internship at Avenor for the first time, within the Communication Department, for a group of students interested in Marketing and Branding. We experienced what it means to guide these young people to discover if what happens in organizations is as they imagined. At the same time, we listened with interest to their current, honest, and responsible perspective on our work<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.&#8221; says <\/span><b>Cristina Willows, Deputy Executive Director of Avenor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Internship Program started 8 years ago, with our first high school students. During this time, participating students have had the opportunity to learn more about themselves, meet professionals from various fields, and discover career opportunities. Over the years, Avenor graduates have overwhelmingly mentioned the internship program as a factor that helped them choose a potential future career among their current passions. \u00a0Consequently, they made a conscious and deliberate choice in selecting a specific university program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-31478 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ilinca-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"338\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ilinca-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ilinca-1030x1030.png 1030w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ilinca-80x80.png 80w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ilinca-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/www.avenor.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ilinca.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/>&#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What helped me the most (in choosing my university program) &#8211; and I want to thank the Career team for the opportunity &#8211; was the internship experiences which introduced me to the corporate world and both internships were a close fit with my interests. I learnt a lot about legal departments and how they\u2019re incorporated within the whole company.The KPMG internship was a highlight of my internship experience as I also had the chance to speak to the HR department and gained insight into how to apply and prepare yourself for a job interview for law.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; says <\/span><b>Ilinca, Class of 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are grateful to our internship partners, a community that brings together entrepreneurs, NGOs, corporations, and private firms who, through their involvement in this program, directly contribute to shaping the destinies of future professionals.
