My name is Laura Andrei and I am a professional choreographer, ballet teacher and fitness-ballet instructor. Currently I am working at Avenor Nursery as a Physical Education and Ballet teacher. I consider that is a great opportunity and I am grateful for having a job that I am passionate about, feeling at the same time that I am in the right place.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I have been working as a dance teacher since 2014. Teaching is one of the most beautiful yet challenging things for me. I love working with children, because they are full of energy, and I think that in this exchange of energies, both parties are learning on different levels. I think it\u2019s more than a process of learning, it is about the time spent together, an educational process through a communication system that enfolds many layers of development. I believe that physical activity is vital in children\u2019s all-round development, enabling them to pursue happy, healthy and active lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am keen on teaching dance, to children or grown-ups, likewise. I want my students to learn beautiful things, to create their own value system, to think critically and to discover their artistic side, while exploring their own boundaries and creativity.\u00a0 I am interested in learning more about different methods of teaching, both English and dance, to make my classes more enjoyable, to create curious learners and to <\/span>guide them to a better understanding of their bodies.<\/span> I am fond of the Mantle of the Expert educational approach, therefore in this regard, I have obtained a certification for <\/span>Beginners Course, Mantle of the Expert<\/span><\/i>, in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

I started dancing when I was 4 years old, continuing at <\/span>Floria Capsali High School <\/span><\/i>in Bucharest. In school, I have studied Vaganova classical dance technique, folk and character dances, as well as contemporary dance. At <\/span>Codarts Dance Academy<\/span><\/i>, in the Netherlands, I have learned different contemporary dance techniques, such as Laban, Graham and Limon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After my returning to Romania, I obtained an aerobics instructor degree from Federatia Rom\u00e2n\u0103 \u201c<\/span>Sportul pentru to\u021bi<\/span><\/i>\u201d in 2009, I collaborated with R\u0103zvan Mazilu for the performance \u201cDepeche Dance\u201d at Odeon Theatre, I danced in musical shows produced by “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theater. From the TV shows, I mention \u201cX Factor\u201d, \u201cTe cunosc de undeva\u201d. On the big screen I danced in a feature film directed by Nae Caranfil, \u201c6,9 pe scara Richter\u201d and in musical videos for Parov Stelar, Moonlight Breakfast, Andreea B\u0103lan, Fly Project.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Since I want to develop my skills, I am always looking for new experiences and to expand my range of knowledge, in 2020 I graduated from the <\/span>Faculty of Foreign Languages \u200b\u200band Literatures<\/span><\/i> at Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University, achieving as well a certification in <\/span>Psycho-pedagogy training for teachers<\/span><\/i>, first level. In 2022 I developed my career with a <\/span>Master Degree in Anglo-American Intercultural Studies<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a volunteer, I am a member of <\/span>Asocia\u021bia Umanitar\u0103 Tadeu<\/span><\/i>, where together with community members, we organize different projects and festivals, all around the year, helping them by coordinating creative and movement happenings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
