For me, education is about far more than simply transmitting knowledge; it is about nurturing a way of seeing the world with curiosity, purpose, and understanding. I strongly believe that every concept we teach should begin with the question, <\/span>“Why?”<\/span><\/i> The answers to that question provide children with meaningful connections and a deeper understanding of the world around them.<\/span><\/p>\n

I graduated from the <\/span>Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences <\/span><\/i>and completed a Master’s degree in <\/span>Learning, Innovation and Coaching in Education<\/span><\/i>. These studies equipped me with contemporary approaches and practical tools for designing meaningful and transformative learning experiences. Throughout my career, I have worked with students with diverse educational needs and have facilitated leadership and public speaking training programmes, experiences that have strengthened my belief in recognising and responding to the uniqueness of every learner.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2025, I completed<\/span> professional training in Concept-Based Inquiry,<\/span><\/i> an approach that has brought greater depth and coherence to my teaching by focusing on transferable concepts and meaningful understanding. Alongside this, I have consistently integrated elements of Project-Based Learning into my classroom, encouraging students to collaborate, investigate authentic questions, and construct knowledge through real-life experiences. These approaches naturally foster curiosity while continually bringing learning back to the essential question of <\/span>“Why?”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

I have also had the opportunity to facilitate internal professional learning sessions for fellow teachers, sharing practical strategies and classroom examples of implementing Concept-Based Inquiry and Project-Based Learning. These experiences have reinforced my belief that professional growth is collaborative and that sharing effective practice benefits both educators and the students they teach.<\/span><\/p>\n

A key focus of my teaching is helping students become reflective and independent learners. I strive to create opportunities for children not only to understand <\/span>what<\/span><\/i> they are learning but also <\/span>how<\/span><\/i> they learn. By encouraging reflection, goal-setting, and self-assessment, I aim to help students develop the confidence, responsibility, and autonomy needed to take ownership of their learning journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have been part of the Avenor team since 2023, where I actively contribute to educational initiatives that promote authentic learning and the holistic development of every child. My goal is for each of my students to grow not only into curious learners but also into independent, critical thinkers who demonstrate empathy, resilience, and a genuine desire to continue learning throughout their lives. I see the classroom as a dynamic learning community where every voice matters and where meaningful learning emerges through trust, connection, and thoughtful inquiry.<\/span><\/p>\n

For me, the role of a teacher is that of a guide – a supportive presence who observes carefully, encourages growth, provides clear structures, and creates the conditions for every child to discover their own strengths and potential.
