I truly believe that the teaching profession chose me, and I embraced it wholeheartedly without a single second thought. My career in education began in a wonderfully spontaneous way, as I found out I would be teaching just one day before stepping into the classroom for the very first time. I accepted this invitation immediately, turning a long-held desire into reality – a choice that remains the best professional decision I have ever made.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This unexpected start compelled me to adapt rapidly, helping me shape a clear vision of an educator’s vital role from the very beginning. I believe that beyond delivering academic content – which must be constantly tailored to the dynamics and needs of current generations – a teacher must serve as a genuine role model for their students. This standard is achieved by strictly adhering to professional ethics, providing empathetic guidance, and instilling strong moral values that will support students throughout their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

My academic foundation is deeply rooted in a passion for the exact sciences and technical excellence. From 2015 to 2019, I attended the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages at the Politehnica University of Bucharest<\/em>, graduating with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Chemical Engineering<\/em>. Driven by a desire to expand my horizons, I was awarded an Erasmus+ scholarship in 2017, which gave me the opportunity to study for a semester at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. This international experience was a pivotal learning milestone, allowing me to discover innovative teaching methodologies and modern perspectives on science education. Advancing further, I completed a Master\u2019s degree in Medical Engineering at the Faculty of Medical Engineering<\/em>, also at the Politehnica University of Bucharest, with all coursework conducted entirely in English. Professionally, the year 2023 marked a significant milestone as I obtained my national teaching certification (“Definitivat”). Furthermore, to align my practice with international standards of excellence, I earned Cambridge certifications from Cambridge International for teaching IGCSE and AS\/A Level Chemistry.<\/span><\/p>\n

My teaching journey began in 2019 and continued until February 2023, a period rich with pedagogical growth and fulfillment. Following this, I chose to explore the industrial production sector as a chemical engineer\u2014a strategic step aimed at refining my technical skills and gaining hands-on experience within a professional laboratory setting. This practical background directly enhances my teaching by bringing real-world applications into the classroom. Even during my time in the industry, I remained deeply connected to education by participating in professional development courses, hosting online interactive experiment workshops, and scripting digital lessons to continuously expand my expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n

My passion for chemistry and education has always extended beyond the traditional classroom setting. During my university years, I actively volunteered for the “Tineri Chimi\u0219ti” (Young Chemists) program within the Romanian Chemical Society. The activities I organized included interactive laboratory sessions, national experiment competitions, and street-science demonstrations at science festivals for students of all ages. More recently, following an inspiring camp experience with students, I decided to broaden my civic commitment by planning to volunteer with the Red Cross, believing that community engagement and a spirit of service are natural extensions of being an educator.<\/span><\/p>\n

The start of the new school year in September 2026 brings the fulfillment of my greatest dream since I began teaching in 2019: stepping into the role of a Form Tutor at Avenor. I am eager to establish a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where my students can thrive both personally and academically. My primary aspiration at Avenor is to actively contribute to shaping the character of future adults, offering them robust academic guidance alongside steadfast emotional support.
