I believe that being a teacher goes beyond simply sharing knowledge. It means being present \u2013 with patience, and with open eyes and heart – to discover, in each child, a whole world. Teaching history is, in essence, telling stories about people, about courage, about choices, and about meaning. And as we open windows to the past together, we learn to see our future more clearly. These values were instilled in me by both my teachers and my family, as I grew up surrounded by and guided by educators.<\/span><\/p>\n

I graduated from the <\/span>University of Bucharest\u2019s Faculty of History<\/span><\/i> with a specialisation in <\/span>Art History<\/span><\/i>, driven by my passion for ancient history and archaeology. I pursued this passion throughout my undergraduate studies and continue to follow it as part of a volunteer team researching an archaeological site in C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2022, I completed the<\/span> Level I Psychopedagogical Module at the University of Bucharest\u2019s Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences<\/span><\/i>. This course broadened my perspective on the learning process and equipped me with the knowledge necessary to implement personalized approaches in education.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2024, I finished the <\/span>Master\u2019s program in History Teaching at the University of Bucharest\u2019s Faculty of History <\/span><\/i>and the <\/span>Master\u2019s program in Managerial Communication and Human Resources at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA)<\/span><\/i>. I chose to continue my professional development in education to be fully prepared for a career as a history teacher, a subject that has always sparked my curiosity about the past. The question “Why?” has continually motivated me to delve into various aspects of history.<\/span><\/p>\n

I joined the Avenor community in 2022, and since September 2023, I have been part of the <\/span>Teachers for Teachers program<\/span><\/i> within the Humanities department. This program offers me the opportunity to develop the skills needed to become a strong teacher. As I am at the start of my career, the guidance and mentorship from experienced teachers in an exceptional school environment is an invaluable opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

In September 2024, I started teaching history to middle school students. This role allows me to apply the skills and knowledge I have acquired through the <\/span>Teachers for Teachers program<\/span><\/i>. In September 2025, I took on the role of a form tutor with great enthusiasm and excitement. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of education and has helped me grow both professionally and personally. Working closely with my students has shown me the importance of being a consistent source of support, building relationships based on trust, and guiding them through their development.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a form tutor has reinforced my belief that education is about more than teaching content. It is about being present, listening, and helping young people develop the confidence to grow and succeed.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m deeply grateful to start this journey at Avenor – a place that values authenticity and growth.
