As early as fifth grade, I would carefully prepare my materials and imagine myself teaching geography lessons at home. I was deeply fascinated by the subject, and my room often became an improvised classroom where my parents and friends were my students for a few minutes. Looking back, I realise that those moments were my first experiences with teaching and the beginning of the path that eventually led me to this profession.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I graduated from the <em>Faculty of Geography at the University of Bucharest, specialising in Geography Education<\/em>. Alongside my academic studies, I completed the <em>Teacher Training Programme<\/em>, which gave me the opportunity to develop my teaching skills and work directly with students in various educational settings. Later, I continued my academic development through a <em>Master&#8217;s degree in Integrated Environmental Assessment.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During my university studies, I developed a strong interest in environmental issues, which inspired me to further explore this field through postgraduate studies. Another area of geography that I am particularly passionate about is Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a technology that allows us to analyse and interpret geographical data in ways that are both interactive and highly relevant to the modern world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Avenor, I have the opportunity to teach Geography<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">across both Middle School and High School. This year marks the beginning of a new chapter in my professional journey as a form tutor, a role I embrace with enthusiasm and joy, seeing it as an opportunity to support my students not only in their academic development, but also in their personal and emotional growth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I strongly believe that learning is most effective when students are actively engaged in the educational process. For this reason, I regularly incorporate gamification, collaborative activities, debates, simulations, and practical learning experiences into my lessons. The positive feedback I receive from students is one of my greatest sources of motivation and encourages me to continuously seek new ways to make every lesson meaningful and engaging.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond the classroom, I enjoy sharing educational resources, teaching ideas, and classroom activities through social media. I am passionate about hiking and exploring lesser known places, while jiu jitsu and badminton are two sports that remain an important part of my routine. I am also fascinated by speleology and palaeontology, and exploring Romania\u2019s caves helps me better understand the natural environment and the history of the places around us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I look towards the future with enthusiasm and hope to continue inspiring students to stay curious, ask questions, and explore the world around them with confidence.
