Each September brings with it the same sense of anticipation and purpose \u2014 a fresh beginning and a renewed commitment to student wellbeing.<\/b><\/p>\n
As a <\/span>School Counselor<\/b>, <\/span>Club Coordinator<\/b>, and <\/span>Whole School Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)<\/b>, I support students\u2019 emotional, social, and academic development, helping them navigate challenges and build resilience in a safe, inclusive environment. My approach centers on empathy, active listening, and empowering young people to better understand themselves and their potential.<\/span><\/p>\n Through counseling, I provide a consistent, confidential space for students to explore concerns, build coping strategies, and develop emotional literacy. I also work closely with families and staff to ensure a holistic, collaborative approach to student care and safeguarding.<\/span><\/p>\n I truly believe that teachers, families, and leadership team should create a unified approach to student wellbeing, ensuring that each child is seen, heard, and supported. Whether addressing specific counselling issues, my goal is to empower students with practical tools and emotional insight that will serve them both in school and throughout life.<\/span><\/p>\n As a Designated Safeguarding Lead, I also play a central role in ensuring that student safety and welfare remain a top priority \u2014 managing concerns with care, professionalism, and discretion.<\/span><\/p>\n In my role as Co-curricular Activities<\/span> Coordinator<\/b>, I design and oversee a wide range of co-curricular opportunities that enrich students’ educational experience beyond the classroom through curiosity, creativity, and leadership. I strongly believe that <\/span>co-curricular activities play a vital role in building confidence, nurturing passions, encouraging collaboration, and helping students discover their unique strengths<\/b>.
