My journey into education began in my childhood, inspired by the profound dedication of a professional role model within my family and by the deep-seated conviction that education possesses the power to transform lives. I completed my initial training at the <\/span>“Elena Cuza” Pedagogical High School<\/span><\/i> in Bucharest, followed by the University College for Teachers, where I specialised in English with a Socio-Psycho-Pedagogical profile. To consolidate my specialisation, I graduated from the<\/span> Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Bucharest, majoring in Primary and Preschool Pedagogy.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Over three decades of dedication to primary education, I have remained deeply committed to continuous professional development and aligning my practice with the highest educational standards. Having attained the 1st Didactic Degree in the 2013 – 2014 school year, I subsequently undertook six Cambridge assessments to secure international certifications, including the IGCSE in English as a Second Language and the comprehensive Teaching Knowledge Test portfolio (covering Young Learners, CLIL, Managing the T&L Process, Lesson Planning, and Language and Background to Language Learning).<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Since joining Avenor in 2012, this community has become the nurturing ground where my professional values have flourished – a place where excellence is embraced not as a static destination, but as an ongoing cycle of learning, reflection, and innovation. In my role as Acting Head of Primary, I lead a remarkable team with whom I share a unified educational philosophy and a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and professional growth. Together over the years, we have successfully navigated three British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspections and the national ARACIP accreditation, achieving the highest possible rating of “Outstanding” (Foarte bine). These external evaluations have consistently validated not only the academic rigor of our educational provision but also our supportive organizational culture, where safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and the quality of relationships remain paramount.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2024, qualifying as a BSO inspector accredited by Penta International (Level One & Two)<\/em> further deepened my understanding of global quality benchmarks, enabling me to bring an enriched international perspective to our daily school practices. This global outlook was enhanced by attending the 44th Annual COBIS Conference in London (May 2026), where I was privileged to represent Avenor in one of the world’s premier international educational forums.<\/span><\/p>\n

I hold a profound conviction that education only finds its true resonance when anchored in a genuine sense of vocation. Beyond academic standards and professional expertise, our core responsibility lies in understanding the unique world of each child and fostering relationships built on trust, respect, and mutual care. A balanced approach that pairs deep empathy with high expectations creates the ideal environment for children to thrive, discover their unique potential, and find the courage to carve out their own paths.<\/span><\/p>\n

For me, Avenor is the community where these values are translated, day by day, into meaningful, authentic learning experiences.
