I believe education is a process where teachers are facilitators, mediators between children and the environment. The less guided the interaction, the more successful the learning experience. In my perspective, education is a successful partnership between children and teachers as they cooperate to discover the immediate surroundings, at the same time developing their different types of intelligence.<\/p>\n
My professional journey started 27 years ago when I decided to study Education, Child Psychology and Pedagogy at “Gh. Asachi” Vocational High School in Piatra Neam\u021b. Upon graduation, provided that I had grown fond of foreign languages, particularly English and French, I moved on to study these at the University of Bucharest and later on at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. This is where I learned Swedish and I studied “Perspectives of Multiculturalism in Education”.<\/p>\n
Throughout this journey I deepened my theoretical knowledge through professional training courses, learning how the implementation of international programs can complement the traditional teaching.<\/p>\n
My experience working with children includes 19 years in different educational systems, international, bilingual, and based on the British curriculum. To these, in the last years spent at Avenor, I added the fascinating world of Project Based Learning, which opened the doors to unconventional and challenging learning.<\/span><\/p>\n I enjoy working with my students and learning together. Whether I teach in Romanian or English, I am equally excited about my role as a facilitator guiding the students through learning.<\/span><\/p>\n Every time I have the opportunity to apply the knowledge I have gained during my studies and my international experience to guide the students, I feel at ease and I feel that I am in the right place, meaning every day at Avenor.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":42022,"template":"","categorii_profesori":[458],"class_list":["post-8644","profesori","type-profesori","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categorii_profesori-middle-school"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
