Since childhood, I\u2019ve been naturally inclined towards participating in school competitions, where I consistently earned numerous awards. My passion for mathematics began to take shape during high school. Teaching continually challenges me, with each lesson presenting new questions and scenarios. I work hard to address the needs of each student, always exploring new ways to inspire them to learn. To help them push beyond their limits, I\u2019ve developed detailed and accessible materials. Additionally, the one-on-one preparation and extensive exercises I\u2019ve completed with them have led to outstanding results in various competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n

I graduated from the “Ecaterina Teodoroiu” National College in T\u00e2rgu Jiu and pursued further studies at the University of Bucharest, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. I enhanced my academic achievements by completing a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics in Insurance, Finance, Statistics, and Biostatistics. My teaching internship at the I.L. Caragiale National College enabled me to complete the Level II Psychopedagogical Module through the Teacher Training Department. In 2014, I received my permanent teaching certification, officially becoming a tenured mathematics teacher. With a deep interest in technology, I pursued professional retraining courses in computer science at the University of Pite\u0219ti, Faculty of Sciences, Physical Education, and Informatics in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been teaching mathematics for 13 years and am currently working towards obtaining the second teaching grade, which will enable me to advance in my career. Each year in the classroom has taught me valuable lessons from both students and colleagues. I\u2019ve had the opportunity to take on various roles and work with students of all ages. I\u2019ve participated in a wide range of activities such as finger painting, listening to students\u2019 stories, tree climbing, jumping rope, and playing volleyball\u2014experiences I never expected to share with my students.<\/span><\/p>\n

With a lasting fascination for technology, I\u2019ve always sought to deepen my understanding in this area. The CRED and mentoring courses have equipped me with strategies for differentiated teaching and helped me design well-structured mathematics lessons. I enjoy exploring and enhancing my skills in various fields to provide my students with a more comprehensive and engaging education. I also love reading personal development books and applying those insights to my teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Avenor, I aim to help nurture a generation of students who are passionate about mathematics and computer science, capable of critical thinking and innovative problem-solving.
