Nursery Green Teacher
My name is Anamaria Naftan and I am a Nursery Green Teacher. This is my third year with the Avenor Nursery team.
Regarding my education, I graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and at the same time I attended the pedagogy course from the Faculty of Educational Sciences. This course gave me the opportunity to work with various age groups and through this I realised that what I loved most was working with small children. I learned about educational psychology and how to approach the learning process, in order for it to become a pleasure for the children. Afterwards, I decided to continue my education by enrolling in The Early Education MA at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, from which I graduated last year.
I believe early childhood education is the most important period in the development of the child. Thus, the role of the nursery teacher is essential because they are a role model for the children who tend to imitate the behaviour of adults. Furthermore, early childhood is the period when the child develops their personality and discovers the surrounding world. I am looking forward to being one of the people who will have this responsibility but also the great joy in helping the children from Avenor Nursery discover the world in a pleasant and safe way.
I am well aware of the fact that the nursery teacher does so much more than sharing information; they are responsible for the good social interactions that are created between the children.
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” (Benjamin Franklin)
