My name is Paige Gould and I am so happy to be joining the Avenor team this year. I have spent the last six years teaching at International schools in Thailand and Cambodia.
After completing my A-Levels in Photography, Art, English language and English literature I went on to study Photography at Leeds Arts university. I then completed my PGCE education with Sunderland University (UK).
As a teacher, creativity is one of my strongest qualities, through which I keep my students engaged and challenged. I am really passionate about encouraging young minds to think independently and I believe that the Early years foundation stage is a crucial part of development and I love to watch my students’ confidence and understanding of the world grow.
My core skills lie in the arts and I utilise them in the classroom, from arts and crafts, to music, sport, writing and storytelling. I focus on play-based learning, using a range of manipulative resources to teach literacy to young students. I’m always eager to keep an open mind in the classroom.
Outside of my professional life, I’m extremely focused on healthy living, physical fitness and wellbeing. Furthermore, I’m very passionate about the environment and pursuing positive ecology practices in both my professional and personal life.
I am really excited about my new opportunity with Avenor and I look forward to all the wonderful experiences to come.
