Reception Green Teacher
My name is Ana-Maria Radu and this is going to be my third year with the Avenor Nursery team. I graduated the University of Foreign Languages where I studied Russian as a major and English as a second language. I have also attended Pedagogical courses that have helped me learn more about lesson plans and classroom management.
I am a positive, creative and hard-working person who is very keen on her job. I like to consider myself as a “non-traditional teacher” who involves her students actively instead of the older traditional style of standing at the front and talking. For me, the relationship between child and teacher is extremely important, so I always seek to learn more about my students, about their needs and interests, about likes and dislikes.
Being a teacher allows me daily to be surrounded by lively young people with positive attitudes; a fact that has an impact on my personality as a grown-up.
I do believe that children are our future and I feel proud to help them discover this wonderful world.
Let us all have a great year together!
‘If your plan is for 1 year, plant rice; if your plan is for 10 years, plant trees; if your plan is for 100 years, educate children.” (Confucius)
