Reception Blue Teacher
My name is Daniela Stăvaru and I have found Avenor to be a wonderful place to work. I graduated from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. My main field of study is Educational Sciences and I have specialised in education since 2006. I passed my Master’s Degree, in 2008, in the field of Career and Educational Counselling and a GCDF specialisation in Counselling Supervision.
I have been working as a teacher at Avenor Nursery (formerly Little London and formerly Wonderland) since 2005. I am also a proud mother of a five year old boy. This will be my thirteenth year at this nursery. Over the past years as a teacher I have had the chance to teach all kinds of age groups. Consequently, I have gained in-depth knowledge of accommodating different styles of learners and incorporating effective methods to meet children’s needs.
Every day spent together with and in the company of children is part of the life journey, a day that brings light to our lives because children are amazing and they offer us wonderful playful moments.
The upcoming academic year will find me in Reception Blue working with children who will start learning about sounds and letters. This is a great opportunity for me to practise the teaching skills acquired and developed in Literacy and Phonics. I hope to learn alongside the children in my group during the following year as well, and hope it will be a fruitful, jolly time for all of us! I am very happy to be a part of Avenor and I am looking forward to seeing you and your children.
