"There's no point in being grown up, if you can't be childish sometimes."
My name is Mihaela-Mădălina Tăureci and I have been a substitute teacher at Avenor Nursery since March 2019. I am a student at the Faculty of Foreign Languages in Bucharest, focusing on English and Spanish.
I started as an English teacher for Cambridge exam preparation all over Bucharest. I love being around children and being a part of their development. I have discovered that this is what I truly want to do. Before I came to Avenor, I worked as a supervisor for first grade children at an ‘After School’, teaching them English at the same time. It was difficult sometimes, keeping up with both work and university, but I could not imagine myself doing anything else.
Since I was a child myself I was drawn to music. For seven years I have studied music, dance and acting classes. It has proven very useful when working with children, especially when it comes to organising shows.
I wish to finish my studies and continue on this path for as long as life allows me to. It is not a job for me, it is a big family, from the youngest bundle of joy, to the wisest colleague.
