The Avenor team currently consists of 180 educators, teachers, collaborators and administrative staff, and we are in a continuous recruitment process. We are looking for professionals in education who share our values and principles in order to become builders of the future together.

If you would like to join our team, even if we don’t have a job that suits you at the moment, you can contact us on 0733 689 471 or send your  CV at hr@avenor.ro and we’ll be in touch.

Resources for teachers

Our teachers are eager to share the resources and experience of online teaching with colleagues from other schools, so that we can build together for our students, the adults of tomorrow, a world with better educated citizens. The topics of the workshops given by our teachers range from the use of Zoom and Google Classroom, to practical solutions for adapting to online teaching, improving the relationship between teachers and students, formative assessment and promoting critical thinking.

Teachers for Teachers

Employment opportunity for early-career teachers

“Teachers for Teachers” is a training and mentoring programme dedicated to young graduates preparing for a career in education, as well as teachers in their early years in the profession. Through an intensive two-year training programme, we aim to provide them with the support they need to build a strong foundation for a successful career in education.

Why such a programme?

“At Avenor, quality education starts with well-prepared teachers, and their development is a process that requires time, guidance, and genuine support.

This belief led to the creation of the ‘Teachers for Teachers’ programme – a two-year journey dedicated to early-career teachers who want to turn a job into a meaningful career in education.

We offer them a safe and generous environment where they can learn, experiment, make mistakes, and grow. Through ongoing mentoring, classroom observations, assisted teaching, and personalised feedback, participants gradually develop autonomy and gain a deep understanding of the complexity of the teaching and learning process.

We encourage them to become reflective practitioners, able to adapt and grow within an educational community that is grounded in the reality of a school where collaboration and continuous learning are part of everyday life.”

Curriculum Development & Teacher Training Lead – Whole School

Who can join the programme?

We are looking for early-career teachers who want to turn this job into a meaningful, committed, and impactful profession.

We welcome graduates of pedagogical high schools, university graduates, or final-year students who have completed the Psychopedagogical Module (minimum Level 1), have a strong command of English, and a genuine passion for education.

What do participants in the
“Teachers for Teachers” programme say?

Oana Otves

Oana Otveș, Teacher of History

“Collaborating closely with experienced history teachers allowed me to explore new teaching strategies, broaden my understanding of historical contexts, and adopt interdisciplinary approaches.

The programme helped me strengthen my communication skills, better understand my students’ needs, and design learning environments that are both engaging and challenging.”

Andrei Vasiliu

Andrei Vasiliu, Teacher of Physics

“The aspect I appreciated most about this programme was the supportive and collaborative environment, the wide range of resources available, and the ongoing support from experienced teachers.

This ongoing mentorship significantly boosted my confidence and skills, which positively impacted both my teaching and my students’ achievements.”

Cosmina Costache

Cosmina Costache, Teacher of Geography

“I feel that, gradually, I have earned my students’ respect – and the fact that many of them happily come to Geography lessons is one of my greatest joys.

Every now and then, I also receive messages from parents telling me how much their children enjoy my classes.
I have started to feel that my lessons are becoming more lively and engaging, both for my students and for myself.”
