Teachers for Teachers

Employment opportunity for early-career teachers

Teachers for Teachers is a training and mentoring program designed for recent graduates preparing for a career in education, as well as teachers in their first years of teaching. Through an intensive two-year training program, we aim to provide them with the support they need to build a solid foundation for a successful career in education.

Why such a programme?

“At Avenor, quality education starts with well-trained teachers, and their professional development is a process that requires time, guidance, and genuine support.

This conviction gave rise to the “Teachers for Teachers” program—a two-year initiative designed for new teachers who want to turn their job into a career in education.

We provide them with a safe and supportive environment where they can learn, experiment, make mistakes, and grow. Through ongoing mentoring, classroom observations, co-teaching, and personalized feedback, participants gradually develop their autonomy and come to understand the depth and complexity of the teaching and learning process.

We encourage them to become mindful practitioners, capable of reflecting, adapting, and growing within an educational community that is grounded in the reality of a school where collaboration and lifelong learning are part of everyday life.”

Who can join the programme?

We are reaching out to teachers just starting out who want to turn this calling into a fulfilling and impactful career.

We are looking for graduates of teacher-training high schools, college graduates, or students in their final year of study who have completed the Psychopedagogical module (at least Level 1), have excellent English skills, and are passionate about education.

What do participants in the

Oana Otves

Oana Otveș, Teacher of History

“Working closely with experienced history teachers has helped me discover new teaching methods, historical contexts, and interdisciplinary approaches.

Through this program, I developed essential communication skills, gained a better understanding of students’ needs, and created engaging and stimulating learning environments.”

Andrei Vasiliu

Andrei Vasiliu, Teacher of Physics

“What I liked most about this program was the collaborative atmosphere, access to a wide range of resources, and the constant support from experienced instructors.

This ongoing mentoring process has helped me immensely to gain more self-confidence and become more competent, which has been reflected in my students’ learning experiences and results.”

Cosmina Costache

Cosmina Costache, Teacher of Geography

“I feel that, little by little, I’ve earned my students’ respect—and the fact that many of them look forward to coming to my geography classes is, for me, one of my greatest joys.

From time to time, I also get messages from parents telling me how much their children enjoy my lessons.
I’ve started to feel that my lessons are becoming more and more engaging and interesting, both for the students and for me.”
