Alexandra Pădurariu
Learning Assistant
Teacher of English

Being a teacher at Avenor has fulfilled a childhood dream – to work in education and contribute to the academic, emotional, and social development of children. I have always felt a strong connection to this field, especially to the English language, which has consistently guided my academic and professional path.
In 2018, I graduated from “August Treboniu Laurian” National College in Botoșani, where I majored in Philology with a bilingual English profile. Inspired by my English teachers, who supported and encouraged me to follow my vocation, I pursued a degree in English and Romanian Language and Literature at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, graduating in 2021. I also completed the first level of the Psychopedagogical Training Module, which certified me to teach both English and Romanian at both primary and middle school level. In 2022, I began my master’s studies at the University of Bucharest, within the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, enrolling in the British Cultural Studies program, which I completed in the summer of 2024. This allowed me to deepen my knowledge of British literature, history, and culture, maintaining a continuous connection with the English language.
My experience at Avenor so far has been one of learning, growth, and professional development. As an English as a Second Language and Phonics teacher, I gained valuable experience working with children and collaborating with the teaching team. During this time, I also achieved the highest band score in the Teaching Knowledge Test Module 1: Language and background to language learning and teaching. Starting this school year, I will take on a new and exciting role as an English teacher for Pregătitoare, a position I embrace with both enthusiasm and dedication.
It is a great pleasure to continue my journey at Avenor alongside the entire community of students, teachers, and parents. I look forward to continuing to build harmonious relationships with the team and parents and, above all, to supporting my students throughout the beautiful process of learning, discovery, and personal development.
