If you ask me how I teach, I would say… sometimes sitting on the floor, in a circle, other times outside, with my hands in clay or a magnifying glass over ants. Learning is more beautiful when it is experienced, not just taught. In the classroom, we integrate ideas, stories, movement, and nature—creating a dynamic environment where each child has the opportunity to observe, inquire, and learn through confident trial and error. I believe in the power of intuitive learning and that a good teacher does not simply deliver knowledge, but sparks curiosity and a love of learning.
I graduated from “Matei Basarab” Pedagogical High School in Slobozia, with a double qualification in primary and pre-primary education, and later attended the Faculty of Public Administration at the University of Bucharest. I also completed a Master’s degree in Public Policy Administration in the European Union and continued my professional development with psycho-pedagogical modules, as well as specialisation courses in education and entrepreneurship.
I have been part of the Avenor community since 2021, where I discovered Project-Based Learning and found exactly the philosophy I believe in: that learning is a living, collaborative, and meaningful process. As a primary teacher and coordinator of the “Little Entrepreneur” Club, I have organised themed events, charity fairs, and debates with middle school students – all built around critical thinking and civic spirit.
I am passionate about everything related to nature – from insect behaviour to weather phenomena – and I believe that children’s connection with the environment is the key to deep and authentic learning. I love bringing natural elements into my lessons and creating opportunities for genuine exploration. I am also actively involved as a volunteer in animal protection, being a member of the Romanian Association for the Protection of Animals since 2019.
Beyond teaching, I love exploring alternative forms of movement and relaxation. I practise yoga and pilates, and with children I lead adapted sessions that help them reconnect with their bodies, regulate their emotions, and discover the joy of being present.
At Avenor, I aim to stay close to children and their real needs, offering them a space where they feel safe to learn, create, and dream. I hope that each school day will be both a step forward in their growth and a genuine joy.
