Andreea-Ancuța Floreanu

Learning Assistant

My passion started in the 8th grade, when I realised that no other profile was more attractive than the Pedagogic one. Even more than that, my interest for the Educational System evolved when I met my Romanian teacher in High School. I’ve had the occasion to learn from a model of professionalism and culture, which wanted to modernise teaching to captivate the student’s mind with elements from everyday life.

I am a follower of a catchy, relaxing and modern way of teaching which, unfortunately, you can’t find in many schools. Attention to the student’s needs is a priority for me because I believe that the role of the teacher is to ensure a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, oriented towards the needs of each person, to take their values and skills to the maximum.

At Pedagogic High School I had the chance to be a student, but also a teacher. After finishing High School, I chose another field of study, namely the Faculty of Administration and Business in Bucharest. However, I could never give up my passion, which is why I completed the Psycho-Pedagogical Module – level 1.

I am currently studying Administrative and Political Sciences in the European Union – a Master programme and I also intend to complete the Psycho-Pedagogical Module – level 2. Another thing to mention is the fact that I also obtained an Entrepreneurship diploma, following a project on modernization and protection of education.

I am a volunteer and active member in Animal Protection. Arts have always had a special place in my heart, which is why I have participated in many Olympiads and drawing competitions. Another passion is acting which I fell in love with in High School. Other artistic interests include ceramics, sewing, design, origami and photography.

Every time I have the opportunity to work with a student, I ask myself questions such as: “What type of educational path will he choose?“, “What job would suit him best?” and “What incredible things will he produce with his tiny hands and limitless mind?“. I believe that any teacher recognises that every child develops differently and that they are proud of their personal contribution to the creation of future adults.

As a new member of the Avenor team and community, I look forward to meeting the students and I want to interact with everyone as much as possible!
