Cristina Constantin
Teacher of German

A teaching career is currently one of the fields with the greatest civic responsibility, but also one that brings equally great satisfaction. In line with the idea that education is the most important pillar of a successful society, I developed a passion for teaching as early as high school. I feel deeply connected to this profession, firstly because I love working with children, and secondly because it makes me truly happy to give something back to society, making the most of the years I have spent specialising in German language and literature.
In 2022, I graduated from “Petru Rareș” National College in Suceava, Social Sciences stream within the Humanities profile. During high school, I became drawn to the idea of teaching German, beginning with an intensive study of the language in a bilingual programme during my first two years, before transferring to another profile. From that period, I hold the Deutsches Sprach-Diplom (B1 level). Also in 2022, I enrolled at the Faculty of Letters and Communication Sciences in Suceava, specialising in Romanian–German. Wishing to further my studies, I later transferred to the Faculty of Letters at the University of Bucharest, where I was able to deepen my knowledge in the field of German Studies, which I intended to pursue in the future. In 2025, I graduated from Bucharest with a First Class degree, my dissertation written in German, presenting a comparative study on the pejoration and semantic shifts of Romanian and German forms of address.
Also in 2025, I obtained my Level 1 Teacher Training Certificate (Psychopedagogical Module) and joined the Avenor team through the “Teachers for Teachers” induction programme.
I wish to continue my professional growth, and the “Teachers for Teachers” programme is, for me, a valuable opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers who provide support and feedback in the early years of one’s career – a rare and precious chance. I am glad to be part of a community where learning and continuous development are a priority.
