My name is Dora Crețu and I have been working in Avenor Nursery since 2021. I have joined the Avenor team convinced that it can offer me the possibility of professional development and make me feel welcomed and appreciated.

I started working in the private school system in 2013, eager to be surrounded by children, to help them discover their personality and to enjoy together with them the most beautiful years of their childhood. 

I chose teaching as a career because I believe that an educator’s job extends beyond teaching and I started having the belief that teaching is a noble profession that allows one to enrich the lives of young learners, both in and outside of the classroom.

Regarding my education, I graduated from the Faculty of Social Work and this gave me the opportunity to learn how to make a positive impact. Afterwards, I decided to continue my education by enrolling in the Faculty of Educational Sciences where I could learn how to optimize learning environments so that they meet the needs of the learners themselves and of society as a whole.

At Avenor I have found the framework that suited my professional and personal aspirations. From the beginning I was convinced that the whole nursery group is dedicated to the development of children and all together, we will have a significant contribution in shaping their personality.

As Summer School Coordinator, I am looking forward to putting into practice all of the interesting activity ideas that the summer school team will have in mind for the little ones. I am convinced that the variety of activities will allow children to create lasting memories.
