Dr. Florin Alexandru Stan
Teacher of Economics and Business Studies

For me, pedagogy has always represented an opportunity to shape new perspectives on the future through the lens of academic subjects. I began teaching to create a vision: of society, of interests, and of the self. From middle and high school environments, where curiosities turn into interests, to the university environment, where performance becomes a career.
Regarding my studies, I graduated from the Faculty of Administration and Business at the University of Bucharest in 2020, the same year I published my first volume of scientific literature in the economic field, thus beginning both my university teaching career and my career as an author. Two years later, in 2022, I completed an MBA at the University of Bucharest, simultaneously finishing pedagogical studies at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. In 2022, I also published my second book and began doctoral studies at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, within the Doctoral School of Marketing. In 2023, I participated in multiple international scientific conferences, including ICESS and ETIMM, subsequently publishing scientific articles in the economic sciences field, as well as other books. In 2024, after publishing my sixth book, I was invited to join the Writers’ Union of Romania.
In terms of teaching experience in economic sciences, it is divided into two categories: pre-university, with 10 years of experience across both public and private institutions, and university-level experience at the University of Bucharest and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
I am an advocate of the Homo Universalis concept, engaging in as many cultural and social fields as possible, from a passion for art that led me to start collecting, to a passion for music that guided me to learn various instruments and later compose film music. Regarding social causes, I have supported and continue to support initiatives such as Swimathon, Forest Run, PETA, and the Student Entrepreneurial Society, projects in which I have been directly involved.
At Avenor College, I wish to carry forward the dream of inspiring, developing, and innovating in education!
For me, pedagogy has always represented an opportunity to shape new perspectives on the future through the lens of academic subjects. I began teaching to create vision: a vision of society, of interests, of the self. From middle and high school environments, where curiosity becomes interest, to the university environment, where performance becomes a career.
As for my academic background, I graduated from the Faculty of Administration and Business at the University of Bucharest in 2020, which was also when I published my first volume of scientific literature in the field of economics. That moment marked the beginning of both my university teaching career and my journey as an author. Two years later, in 2022, I completed an MBA at the University of Bucharest while simultaneously finishing my pedagogical studies at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. That same year, I published my second book and began my doctoral studies at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, within the Doctoral School of Marketing. In 2024, after publishing my sixth book, I was invited to join the Romanian Writers’ Union.
Regarding my teaching experience in the field of economic sciences, it is divided into two categories: pre-university experience, spanning 10 years, at both public and private institutions such as Shakespeare School, Erasmus School of Economics, British Council, and Questfield International College. The second category is university-level experience, including the University of Bucharest and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
I have always been a follower of the Homo Universalis concept, involving myself in as many cultural and social areas as possible—from my passion for art, which led me to begin collecting, to my passion for music, which guided me to learn various instruments and later compose film scores. Regarding social involvement, I have supported and continue to support causes such as Swimathon, Forest Run, PETA, and the Student Entrepreneurial Society—projects in which I have been directly involved.
At Avenor College, I wish to carry forward the dream of inspiring, developing, and innovating education!
