Iulia Bratu

Learning Assistant

For me, being part of an educational community like Avenor represents an important achievement and a continuation of my passion for education. The desire to contribute to children’s development—academically, emotionally, and socially—has always been present throughout my professional journey. My experiences have helped me adapt easily to new communities. Practicing volleyball at a competitive level for 13 years taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork—values I consider equally important in education. Over time, I have always been surrounded by children of all ages, and I discovered how much I enjoy supporting, guiding, and being present for them in their learning process. This constant interaction with children has made me feel part of a community and has confirmed that education is the field I want to dedicate myself to.

I graduated from the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, majoring in Sociology. During my studies, I also completed Module I of the Psychopedagogical Program, which provided me with the necessary training to teach in primary and middle school. My time at this faculty was extremely important because it helped me understand people and their behaviors better. I learned to observe, analyze, and understand different types of individuals—from children to adults and the elderly. This experience helped me understand better the needs of those around me, gaining skills essential for working with children.

In the final year of my studies, as part of the psychopedagogical module, I had the opportunity to interact directly with students, where I was able to teach and guide them in the learning process. During this practice, I learned a great deal about the needs of each student and tried to adapt to each one individually. I discovered how important it is to pay attention to each child’s pace, to provide personalized support, and to create an environment where they feel encouraged to learn and discover themselves.

At Avenor, I want to be close to the children, understand their needs, and provide a space where they feel safe and supported to explore, learn, and develop their creativity. I hope that every moment spent at school will be a positive experience for them, inspiring curiosity, self-confidence, and the joy of discovering new things.
