Iuliana Condrea

Nursery Teacher
KS1 Curriculum Monitor
Mentor

My name is Iuliana Condrea, I am a mother of two amazing children who light up my life.  I have been working in Avenor College since 2014. I am happy and excited that I have the opportunity to work with children and to lead their steps into the world.

I graduated from the University of Bucharest in 2009, the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and I have been working with children ever since I was a student. At first, I began working with children with special needs. I then rediscovered myself when I learnt of the British Curriculum in a private institution. Since 2012, I have had an amazing experience working with children aged between 2 and 6 years.

I joined the team at Avenor Nursery School in 2014 and I had the opportunity to be a teacher for all the age ranges from Nursery to Year One which gave me the chance to collaborate with wonderful  children, colleagues and parents  at the same time. I have gained knowledge of accommodating different styles of learners and I incorporate effective methods to meet my students’ needs. I have developed my professional path during these years gaining experience and becoming Science Subject Leader , Curriculum Monitor and Mentor.

Every day spent with the children brings me joy, and their creative ideas, willingness to explore and to be part of their life-journey fulfills me. What motivates me the most as a teacher is focusing on the welfare of children and seeing them enjoying themselves with broad smiles.

I’m looking forward to starting a new journey together and I’m sure we’ll have a great school year!
