Nicolas Spînu
Physical Education Teacher

My passion for sports began in childhood, the moment I first stepped onto a football field. I followed a consistent athletic path—from being a student at a sports-focused high school to graduating from undergraduate and master’s programs in physical education and sports. My professional journey has always been closely connected to movement, performance, and working with young people. I believe a teacher’s role is not only to deliver lessons, but to inspire, to guide, and to build bridges between each student’s potential and their self-confidence. I am strongly convinced that physical education profoundly shapes a child’s personal, emotional, and social development.
I chose to become a teacher because I see physical education as a transformative force. Through sports, children learn essential values like fair play, perseverance, responsibility, and teamwork—qualities that are vital in a constantly evolving society. For me, every PE class is an opportunity to encourage students’ harmonious growth and to instill in them a love for movement and a healthy lifestyle.
My academic background reflects this direction: I hold a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports from the Romanian-American University and a master’s degree in the same field, completed at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Ecological University of Bucharest in 2023. I later complemented this with the completion of the psycho-pedagogical training module (Levels I and II) in 2024, further strengthening my didactic preparation and pedagogical approach. Over the years, I have been actively involved in sports as both a player and a coach, with a special focus on football—a field from which I’ve learned valuable lessons about leadership, strategy, and collaboration.
Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to teach as a substitute teacher in two schools in Bucharest, working with students at primary, middle, and high school levels. I developed dynamic, interactive sessions tailored to each age group, focusing on coordination, attention, and teamwork, while encouraging participation and the joy of movement.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active and engaged in recreational activities that connect me with nature and people: football, outdoor walks, cycling, board games, and video games. I’m energized by the positivity and authenticity that come from team activities and meaningful interactions.
I want to contribute to shaping generations that are balanced, courageous, and aware of their own potential. I aim to create an educational space where students feel encouraged to explore their limits, discover their passions, and understand that personal development is a continuous process, supported by discipline, empathy, and a desire for growth.
