I love being around children and spending my days in the classroom. Teaching is my passion, and I look forward to coming to school each day to encourage my students to be the very best they can be.

My classroom is a warm, inviting, and nonjudgmental space where every child is accepted for who they are. I work with each student individually to help them become the best version of themselves. I strive to be not only a teacher but also a mentor and trusted adult in my students’ lives. I hope they always feel comfortable stopping by my classroom whenever they need a chat or a helping hand. Even after students graduate from our primary school, I hope they will continue to feel welcome to return and say hello. My door is always open.

I hold a U.S. teaching license in Primary Education covering all subject areas. I also hold bachelor’s degrees in Theatre and Drama (B.A.), Neuroscience (B.S.), and Sociology (B.A.).

Since 2017, I have been teaching theatre, language arts, and ESL to primary students in Taiwan. I have been involved in acting since primary school and have performed in a variety of plays, short films, musicals, and even an opera during my university studies.

One of my favourite hobbies is attending ballet classes. I love the calming music and the grace that comes with dancing. I also enjoy spending time with my two beautiful children and supportive husband, and we love being outdoors together. Whenever I can make it to the beach, I enjoy snorkeling and spending time on the water. As a family, we also enjoy traveling to new places. Additionally, I am passionate about climate action and social justice initiatives that help create a better future for our children.

I look forward to working with my students and helping bring their dreams to life through the joy of performing on stage. Together, we will create productions that they can be proud of. My role is not simply to tell students what to do, but to listen, encourage, and guide them toward their best performances. We will focus on teamwork, communication, and creativity so that each class can create a show that reflects its unique strengths and dynamics.

Above all, I aim to encourage students to be themselves on stage and to grow in confidence. My goal is for drama class to be something students eagerly anticipate each week and later remember with fondness, just as I cherish my own experiences with theatre during my school years.
