Iuliana Condrea

Form Tutor 2 Alfa

I joined the Avenor in 2014 and have had the opportunity to teach all nursery age groups, which allowed me to work closely with many wonderful children, colleagues, and parents. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience in accommodating different learning styles and have integrated effective methods into my teaching to meet the needs of my students. My professional journey has continued to grow during this time, and I have taken on additional responsibilities as Science Subject Leader, Curriculum Monitor, and Mentor.

The transition from teaching in the nursery to teaching in primary school, which I made in 2024, has given me a deep understanding of the needs of children moving from early years to primary education. This experience has enabled me to create learning environments where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to develop.

I have spent more than a decade shaping young minds and building a strong understanding of early childhood education. This experience has helped me develop the skills necessary to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that ensure a smooth transition for children from nursery to primary school.

I graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Bucharest in 2009 and have been working with children ever since. In 2011, I completed a Master’s degree in School Counselling and Career Development, which deepened my understanding of children’s social-emotional development and the importance of supporting their individual learning journeys. Committed to continuous professional growth, I later graduated from the Faculty of Primary and Preschool Education in 2020 and obtained my Teaching Certification (Definitivat) in Education. My career began with supporting children with special educational needs, an experience that strengthened my understanding of inclusive education. Discovering the British Curriculum within an international school setting inspired me to embrace a new educational approach, and since then I have enjoyed a highly rewarding career working with children in an international environment.

I believe in a child-centred approach to education, where each student’s individual needs and learning styles are a priority. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, exploration, and a love of learning. Continuous professional growth and reflective practice are integral to my approach, ensuring that the teaching methods I use remain effective and relevant over time.

Every day spent with children brings me joy; their creativity and eagerness to explore the world around them are my greatest motivators. Every smile, hug, and achievement they share with me reaffirms the value of my work, and I am proud to contribute to their growth.

I look forward to starting a new journey together and am confident that we will have an extraordinary school year ahead!
