Form Tutor 4 Delta

I didn’t choose my job as a teacher, it chose me. The love for children, the fulfillment and the satisfaction I get from being around them led me to become a teacher. From the very first day of kindergarten, I said I wanted to be a teacher. So, despite the long distance from home, I chose to attend the “Elena Cuza” Pedagogical High School in Bucharest. I spent five years learning about responsibility and the importance of being an educator. In 2002 I graduated from high school with a double major and went to the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the Dimitrie Cantemir University, where I studied English and Spanish.
Over the years, I have gained diverse experience in education, ranging from working with nursery groups to teaching English at a language center, where I strengthened my teaching skills and competencies in adult education. I have taught English courses in after-school programs, adapting my methods to meet the needs of the students. Later, I held the position of educational director at a private nursery, where I was responsible for curriculum planning and the development of educational programs. This broad experience has given me a comprehensive perspective on the educational process and how it can be adapted to best meet the needs of children and the school community.
Being a teacher is, in my opinion, one of the best jobs. The satisfaction of teaching the little ones, watching them grow and develop, knowing that you have played an important role in shaping them as future adults is priceless.
Since 2013, I have been part of the Avenor family and every year I look forward to discovering the exciting paths of knowledge with my students.
I am very happy that, as the educational coordinator of the Summer School, I can work together with a dedicated team of teachers on a summer program that offers children an exceptional alternative to spend their free time combining learning with play, sports and nature in activities specific to this program.
