Carolling Day

Before the winter holidays, the Avenor College campus is adorned with celebration and resounds with wishes and carols. During breaks, the teachers go around the school carrolling and inviting the students to join them. And at the end of the day, we all gather – students, teachers, parents – on the sports field and sing together.

Open Days

Parents of our students have the opportunity to see our school in “action” during the “Open Days” program for grades 2-12. Members of our community can attend and even actively participate in some of the classes in their children’s timetable. They enjoy sharing with parents their daily experiences.

Science Fair

Organizing an annual Science Fair at Avenor College gives elementary and middle school students the opportunity to be involved in research projects and work in teams. Children create experiments, investigate hypotheses, make predictions, measurements and calculations and reach conclusions that they present to colleagues and teachers. For the middle school students, a project competition is organized, judged by specialists.

Work in Progress

Hundreds of art works made by children aged 6 to 18 within the artistic project “Work in progress” are exhibited annually for a week in the art gallery at the headquarters of UniCredit Bank on Exhibition Boulevard. The exhibition project is organized by Avenor College and has a different theme each year.

Interschool Swimming Challenge

The annual swimming competition organized by Avenor College brings together competitors aged between 6 and 18 from several schools in Bucharest. It is an event in which participants show fair play, which encourages team spirit and collegiality.

Interschool Chess Challenge

Avenor College hosts annually the Interschool Chess Challenge, a chess competition organized by the Școala de Șah ”Jocul celor 3 cai” in which students from several schools in Bucharest participate.

Avenor Sports Olympics

An event dedicated to all Avenor students, the Sports Olympics is a team sports competition that corresponds to the four colorful house teams at Avenor College – red, yellow, blue, green. Children take part in fun games, basketball, football and handball matches, in an exciting and fun competition.

Friends of the piano

The national piano competition “Friends of the Piano”, organized annually by Avenor College, is addressed to children aged 6 to 16 who study piano as an extra-curricular activity / hobby (1-2 hours per week). The event is divided into 2 sections, individually and as a whole in 4 hands.

Piano, singing and guitar recital

Every year, we are happy to see the results of the work of students from Avenor College music clubs participating in the Piano, Guitar and Singing Recital.

Ballet Recital

A show full of color, emotion and grace, the Avenor College Ballet Recital brings on stage the little dancers from our nursery and school, which we can admire in solo and group numbers, classical ballet or contemporary choreography.
