Andreea-Diana Pruș

Teacher of ITC & Technology

Throughout my career, the moment when I truly felt I was making a meaningful impact was when I stood in front of a classroom, helping students understand concepts that were new to them. I believe that education is the foundation upon which future generations are built, and that teachers play a vital role in shaping their students’ intellectual and personal development.

My passion for education began in high school, when I volunteered in the “Youth for Youth” program, where I had the opportunity to teach fellow students from other high schools through a peer-to-peer approach. This experience marked my first direct involvement in the teaching process and highlighted the importance of clear communication tailored to the specific needs and characteristics of each group of students. At the same time, it contributed to strengthening my interest in the field of education and laid the foundation for my decision to pursue a teaching career, where I can support the harmonious development of each student’s intellectual and personal potential.

In 2017, I graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, within the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics, the Economic Informatics program in English. I graduated from the IT&C Security – Cybersecurity master’s program in English, within the same faculty, in 2020. At the same time, I attended the Psychopedagogical Training courses, the bachelor’s and master’s programs.

I started my professional career in software development in 2017, working as a Software Engineer. In the course of over eight years of experience, I have been part of teams with diverse responsibilities, engaging in activities that ranged from analyzing and managing project requirements to developing reports and analyzing data. My experience in the IT field has developed my analytical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to identify effective solutions in diverse contexts.

During 2020 – 2022, I had the opportunity to teach Computer Science and ICT at the middle school level, an experience that reaffirmed my interest in the field of education and my desire to contribute to the training of students. The teaching experience helped me to adapt the teaching process to the needs of students and taught me the importance of empathy and collaboration in the educational process.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and creating scented candles, activities that provide me with inspiration and the opportunity to develop my creativity.

My motivation as a teacher at Avenor is to create a safe environment in which every student engages with passion and curiosity to learn more. Harmonious collaboration between students, parents and the teaching staff is the ideal towards which every educational community strives and which contributes to the growth and success of children. In this collaboration, the role of the teacher is to support the development of each student with respect and trust.
