My passion for Physics began with a desire to understand the phenomena that surround us and the fundamental laws that govern the universe. Over time, this curiosity developed into a deep interest in both research and education, two fields that I believe complement one another. I see the role of a teacher as far more than simply transmitting knowledge; it is about inspiring, guiding, and helping students develop critical thinking, confidence in their own abilities, and a lifelong love of learning.

In 2018, I graduated from Cantemir Vodă National College in Bucharest, where I studied Natural Sciences. That same year, I began my undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest, while also enrolling in the Teacher Training Programme offered by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics, followed by a Master’s degree in the same field in 2023. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest, where my research focuses on neuroscience and the analysis of EEG and SEEG signals, with particular emphasis on identifying biomarkers associated with neurological disorders.

My professional experience includes working in the Epilepsy and Sleep Laboratory at the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital, where I contributed to research projects involving the analysis of neurophysiological data. I also collaborate on interdisciplinary research and technological innovation projects, experiences that allow me to bring authentic, real-world examples into the classroom and demonstrate how science contributes to solving complex challenges.

My journey into education began during my university years, when I had the opportunity to mentor younger students studying Medical Physics. This experience confirmed how much I enjoy working with young people and supporting both their academic and personal development. Today, alongside my role as a Physics teacher, I am also the Form Tutor of 10 Alfa, a responsibility that I see as an opportunity to help build a community founded on respect, collaboration, and trust.

Beyond teaching and research, I am passionate about technology, innovation, and the development of educational projects that encourage learning through exploration and discovery. I hope that my work at Avenor will inspire students’ scientific curiosity, independent thinking, and confidence in their own potential. Above all, I want every student to discover that learning can be an exciting and rewarding experience, and that perseverance, curiosity, and the courage to ask questions are essential ingredients for success.
