I have been part of the Avenor community since 2021, and throughout this journey, I have had the opportunity to grow both as an educator and by taking on additional responsibilities within the Nursery. Alongside my classroom work, I have contributed to the assessment process, coordinated the Student Council, been responsible for the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) programme, and supported the integration of technology into the educational process.

My experience in Year One has given me the opportunity to support children as they transition into Primary School, while continuing to nurture their creativity and curiosity. I particularly enjoy creating interdisciplinary learning experiences that bring together history, geography, storytelling and the arts, helping children make authentic connections and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

My academic background reflects my passion for history, culture and education. I graduated from the Faculty of History at the University of Bucharest, specialising in Ancient History and Archaeology, and my undergraduate dissertation focused on comparative mythology. I later completed the Psychopedagogical Training Programme within the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and studied Art History and Philosophy of Culture.

I have always been passionate about foreign languages and communication, and I hold a Cambridge C1 Advanced English qualification.

Starting this school year, I am taking on a new role as a Nursery Teacher and Primary Drama Learning Assistant. This role gives me the opportunity to continue working with younger children while also supporting students’ development of self-confidence, communication skills and creativity through drama and performance activities. I strongly believe that storytelling, imaginative play and the performing arts are powerful ways to inspire children and support their development, both academically and personally.
