Florentina Răduță

Nursery Teacher

My name is Florentina Raduță and I first started working with children in 2015 and since then I have taught children aged between one and three years old.

One day, in my early 20s I found myself taking care of a baby sister, highly demanding and quite eager to learn. It was then when I started to have a lot of education-related questions and began investigating ways in which I could help her develop, learn and grow better. Over time, these questions have taken shape and have distilled in my mind.

Starting working with young children made me realise how this was going to be my true passion and it made total sense to put all my love and dedication into this.

Whilst working, I also attended and I graduated from the ‘Lumina’ University of Pedagogy of Bucharest, which taught me all about the different personalities and needs of a child and how to best meet their needs.

The next step was to improve my English knowledge so I started studying for the  ‘First Certificate Exam’ in which I now own a diploma.

I also passed an ‘Early Years Teacher’ certificate. This experience taught me everything about the needs of children aged between birth and three years old.

Besides these studies, at Avenor I had the opportunity to take part in different training programmes. They were chosen to be aligned with the needs of a developing world, such as Technology related ones.

My future plan at Avenor is to be the best self that I can imagine.

We should never, never be afraid or ashamed about dreams. The dreams won’t all come true, we won’t always make it, but where there is no vision a people perish. Where people have no dreams and no hopes and aspirations, life becomes dull and a meaningless wilderness.’ – Tommy Douglas
