School Counsellor
Form Tutor 7 Alfa

I can’t recall the exact moment I decided to become a psychologist, but I do remember that around the age of 14, I began to be drawn towards psychology. During that time, I started reading more and pondering deeper questions about life, alongside a growing desire to help others. It was then that I began to realise how everyone has a story, often too intricate to fully understand.

I felt a deep sense of purpose in assisting others, and this realisation brought me great fulfilment. I continue to believe that every individual is profoundly complex and has a story worth listening to, understanding, and appreciating. I am fortunate to be able to practise psychology in a school setting, where education significantly influences personal development. Schools contribute not only to intellectual growth but also to nurturing the soul and shaping character. They play a crucial role in preventing psychological distress and intervening when necessary.

As a school counsellor, my goal is to help students manage their learning journey, discover their “voice,” embrace values that lead to a harmonious life, build healthy relationships, and navigate challenges. Preparing students to be resilient in the face of life’s difficulties is essential.

As a form tutor, I strive to provide my students with consistent support and to guide them through their school journey, ensuring a smooth and balanced transition through the middle school years. I believe that open and collaborative communication between school and family is essential for the harmonious development of children, and I dedicate my efforts to building a strong partnership with parents. Through active involvement, empathy, and attention to each student’s needs, I aim to create a safe and motivating environment where every adolescent can develop their academic, social, and emotional skills, preparing them for personal and professional success.

Academically, I graduated in 2020 from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. I furthered my studies with a master’s program in Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counseling, and Psychotherapy at the same institution, completing it in 2022. Additionally, I have undergone extensive professional training in cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy, accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists.

Throughout my academic journey, I engaged in various volunteer and research activities that have shaped my professional path. My experience spans clinical psychology (including psychological assessments and counselling) and educational psychology, with a background in teaching high school psychology.

Personally, I have a passion for reading, photography, and film. I also enjoy long walks, travelling, and engaging in philosophical discussions.

I am thrilled to be part of the exceptional team at Avenor and I am committed to making a positive impact. My aim is to support students in reaching their full potential by fostering their harmonious development, encouraging healthy attitudes, and guiding them in effective self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-regulation.
