Ionel Vodă

Sports & PE Curriculum Leader
Teacher of Sports & PE

I graduated in 2004 from the Faculty of Physical and Sports Education at Spiru Haret University in Bucharest. In 2006, I obtained a Master’s Degree in the Management of Sports Activities.

In 2005 I started my career as a teacher at the Technological „Nicolae Balcescu” high school in Oltenita and I continued to work from 2010 to 2011 at the Spectrum School in Bucharest. Meanwhile, I obtained the Certified Teacher degree and the Second degree.

It’s been eight years since I have joined the Avenor College team with the desire to help students understand the importance of practicing physical exercises independently. I believe that beyond the sports activities, the role of a PE teacher is very important in the development of attitudes, beliefs and moral conduct like fair-play, respect, collaboration and friendship.

Five years ago, I accepted the challenge to be the „curriculum leader” in the Avenor PE team which is composed of dedicated and responsible teachers who will continue to guide every day the steps of our students towards performance in any field.
