For me, education has always been more than a profession – it has been a natural calling, born from the desire to accompany children on one of the most important journeys of their lives: the journey of self-discovery. I strongly believe that a teacher’s role is to inspire, guide, and create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to discover their potential. Over the years, I have learned that the most meaningful lessons are built through authentic relationships, trust, and the joy of learning together.
My professional journey began at the Pedagogical High School, where I first discovered the beauty and responsibility of the teaching profession. My desire to better understand children’s development and learning processes led me to pursue a degree at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Bucharest. This academic background gave me a comprehensive perspective on education and helped me develop a child-centred approach focused on the individual needs of every learner.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in both public and private education, and since 2016 I have been part of the Avenor community – a place I consider my professional home. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to grow and learn through a variety of roles, including Early Years Teacher, Primary Teacher, Compliance Coordinator, and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. I have also had the opportunity to lead teams and educational projects, which has given me valuable insights into leadership and the importance of collaboration.
My journey at Avenor has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of both the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and the Primary curriculum, including my experience as a Year 1 teacher. This journey has shown me how important every stage of a child’s development is and how much trust, emotional safety, and a sense of belonging matter within a school community.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, discovering new places, and painting. I believe in lifelong learning and in the power of collaboration, and I see every new experience as an opportunity to grow and make a positive contribution to those around me. What inspires me most every day are the children themselves – their curiosity, sincerity, and extraordinary ability to remind us to look at the world with enthusiasm and openness.
At Avenor, I hope to continue contributing to a community where every child feels seen, heard, and supported. Above all, I hope that every child I work with will always feel that school is a place where they belong, where they are valued, and where they can become the very best version of themselves.
