Sandra, an Avenor scholar, obtained the license in 2022 that allowed her to organize the first edition of TEDxYouth@Avenor College. Together with Sofia, as co-organizer, they orchestrated the second edition of the event in 2023. Planning such an event and coordinating a team of 50 fellow students – organizers and volunteers – helped the two students develop their planning, organizational, and communication skills, providing them with a unique learning experience.

Avenor Christmas Charity Fair is a charity project, organised entirely by students from Avenor High School. Iarina and Teo wanted to raise awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic among their younger schoolmates. Organising attractive and interesting activities for children, the two scholarship students launched an awareness campaign very well received by colleagues and teachers, which helped them better understand working in a team and commiting to a long-term project.

Alexandra loves creative writing so she decided to share her passion with her colleagues. That’s how “From left to write” was born, a creative writing club that she organises for the middle school students. Within the club, which takes place monthly, students debate and write about various topics.

Enthusiastic about mathematics, Tudor took on the role of Project Manager for MATH-LY-NEWS, the school’s mathematics magazine.
This project enables him to merge multiple interests including computer science, history, and, lately, graphic design, as he graphically designs many of the magazine’s issues.
Serving as an enriching addition to his school journey, this project also facilitates his connection with peers.
