Form Tutor Pregătitoare Omega

My passion for education is rooted in my childhood in a small town, where I grew up surrounded by extraordinary people and a community that instilled in me essential values such as respect, kindness, and simplicity. Alongside the guidance I received at home, I was fortunate to learn from inspiring teachers — a dedicated primary teacher, outstanding Romanian and English teachers, an extraordinary form tutor, and a teacher of mathematics who turned a subject feared by many into a fascinating and approachable story. They taught me that a teacher’s role is not only to educate minds but also to shape character.

In 2002, I graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Bucharest, specialising in Romanian and English. Once again, remarkable teachers left a lasting mark on me, fuelling my passion for the humanities and reinforcing my calling for education. In 2005, driven by curiosity and a desire to broaden my professional perspective, I completed a Master’s degree in European Administrative Studies at SNSPA, a step that deepened my understanding of organisational structures and strategic thinking.

Education, however, remained my true calling. In 2021, I earned a diploma in Pedagogy for Primary and Pre-school Education at the University of Bucharest, marking a genuine return to a field I had always carried in my heart. Over the years, I have consistently taken part in training courses and professional development, refining my teaching skills and developing a deeper understanding of how to adapt learning to different ages and individual needs.

I began teaching English while still at university, first in a secondary school in Bucharest and later at the College of Architecture. A few years later, I pursued a career change and, while working for a multinational, I spent time in the United States, where I had the opportunity to explore the American educational system, which I found innovative and inspiring.

I joined Avenor at a time when I was looking for a community that shares the same values I believe in: respect, responsibility, involvement, and trust in each child’s potential. I was drawn to its open, innovative environment, where learning is personalised, and where the teacher–student relationship is built on encouragement, support, and collaboration.

Since 2017, I have been part of the Avenor team, fulfilling my vocation as a primary school teacher by guiding children with patience and passion in their first steps towards knowledge and personal growth. For me, the greatest reward is accompanying each generation from their very first days in school, when they are curious and eager to learn, and helping them develop into confident, well-rounded young people. Every day in the classroom, I give priority to building learning skills, critical thinking, and emotional and social intelligence. It is immensely rewarding to see how patience, commitment, and trust invested in children flourish over time.

I strongly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and build a future full of success. With this conviction, I am proud and honoured to be part of the Avenor community — a team of dedicated professionals who approach education with responsibility, sincerity, and wholehearted commitment to their students.
