9. Internal Students – Re-enrolment Conditions

All progression criteria must be met for a student to be eligible for re-enrolment. Students currently enrolled are given priority in the re-enrolment process, provided they have successfully met the progression criteria. For students who do not meet the progression criteria, conditional re-enrolment may be considered on the basis of an individual plan developed by the Learning Leadership Team. Re-enrolment options may include, but are not limited to:

  • Non re-enrolment (e.g., due to academic performance, examination results, or behaviour);
  • Repetition of the current year (where academic results indicate this is the most appropriate pathway);
  • Re-Enrolment Under Exceptional Circumstances

10. Internal Students – Re-Enrolment Under Exceptional Circumstances

Avenor College upholds high academic and behavioural expectations for student progression. The school recognises, however, that exceptional or unforeseen circumstances may temporarily affect a student’s ability to meet the established Progression Criteria.

In such cases, to ensure fairness while maintaining the integrity of academic standards, students who have not met the Progression Criteria may be considered for re-enrolment in the following academic year, provided that there are compelling exceptional circumstances. Parents who wish to request consideration under this provision must contact the Learning Leadership Team (LLT) to initiate the application process.

Decisions regarding re-enrolment under this provision are made by the Learning Leadership Team, based on a thorough review of each individual case. Where re-enrolment is approved, it will be formalised through a contractual agreement outlining the specific educational pathway and the support measures that the school can provide, in accordance with the student’s particular circumstances.
