I joined the Avenor team in 2015, and since then I have had the opportunity to work with students across all year groups in the primary school. Throughout this time, I have been actively involved in supporting Pregătitoare Class students as they adapt to the routines and expectations of school life, working closely with the wider educational team. These experiences have continuously enriched my teaching practice, enabling me to refine my instructional strategies and develop approaches tailored to children’s diverse learning needs and styles. My interactions with students, parents, and colleagues have strengthened my belief that a positive and stimulating learning environment is essential for every child’s progress, confidence, and well-being.

Ongoing collaboration with my colleagues, together with my active participation in the school’s Professional Development Programme (PLD) – including courses and workshops such as Teaching Mathematics in a Bilingual School and What Is Worth Learning… and Why? – has played a significant role in my professional growth and continuous development.

I graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Bucharest in 2011, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy. In the same year, I began my teaching career at a non-profit organisation that delivers educational programmes for children aged 5 to 14.

To further develop my expertise, I completed a Master’s degree in Management and Evaluation of Educational Organisations and Programmes at the same faculty. I also graduated from the Department for Teacher Training, qualifying as both a primary school teacher and a preschool teacher. In 2017, I obtained the TKT: CLIL certification, followed by the Young Learners certificate in 2019, both awarded by the British Council Bucharest.

Supporting my students throughout their first years of school is an experience that enriches me both professionally and personally every year. It is a privilege to accompany them as they build confidence, develop independence, and discover the joy of learning.

My goal is to create a safe, balanced, and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, understood, and encouraged to express their ideas with confidence. I want my students to see mistakes as valuable opportunities for learning and growth, while discovering and developing their unique potential. I am committed to supporting them every step of the way, providing the guidance and encouragement they need to become independent, confident, and responsible learners who take ownership of their educational journey.
