Form Tutor Pregătitoare Omega

I believe that starting school is one of the most important milestones in a child’s life. It is during these early years that children begin to develop confidence in themselves, a curiosity for learning, and a positive relationship with school. For this reason, I want every child in my classroom to feel safe, heard, and encouraged to explore the world around them with joy and confidence.

From September 2026, I will have the pleasure of leading a Pregătitoare class at Avenor. I embrace this role with enthusiasm and a strong sense of purpose, aiming to build, from the very first day, a learning community where children feel confident to learn, collaborate, develop their independence, and grow at their own pace.

My professional journey began with a passion for the English language and linguistics, but my experience in the classroom confirmed that my true vocation lies in educating young children. Working alongside Avenor students every day has shown me that a teacher’s role extends far beyond delivering knowledge. It is about building relationships based on trust, creating an environment where every child feels confident to express their ideas, and supporting them as they discover their strengths and develop as learners.

I hold a degree in Romanian and English Language and Literature and have completed both Levels I and II of the Romanian Teacher Training Programme. I later earned a Master’s degree in English Linguistics: Methods and Applications from the University of Bucharest and am currently continuing my professional development through my studies in Primary and Preschool Education at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Complementing my academic background, I also hold the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) certification, which has further strengthened my teaching expertise and pedagogical approach.

English remains an important part of my professional identity, and I enjoy weaving this passion into everyday classroom life by providing children with natural opportunities to explore, communicate, and learn within a bilingual environment.

My goal is to create a classroom where curiosity is nurtured, mistakes are seen as valuable opportunities for learning, and every child feels respected, valued, and empowered to succeed. I firmly believe that when school and families work together in partnership, children develop the confidence they need to reach their full potential and to enjoy every step of their educational journey.
