Having worked in both Information Technology and Education, I have experienced two fields that are constantly evolving and require continuous learning. While I enjoyed the challenges of technology, I discovered that teaching offers the greatest opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This realization led me to pursue a career in education, where I could combine my passion for technology with my commitment to helping young people reach their full potential.

What motivates me most as an educator is empowering young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create positive change in the world around them. As a lifelong learner, I value the opportunity to learn alongside my students while encouraging them to embrace curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset.

My academic background reflects my commitment to both technology and education. I hold a Master of Arts in Education and Innovation (MAEDIN, USA), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE, UK) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, UK), a Master of Science in Telecommunication and Networking (MSTN), and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information Technology (BSIT).

With more than 10 years of experience in both education and IT, my international teaching journey began in Dubai and has since taken me to Oman, Uzbekistan, and now Romania. Working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and within different international curricula has broadened my perspective as an educator and reinforced the importance of adaptability, collaboration, and global-mindedness.

My educational philosophy is that students should not only acquire subject knowledge but also develop the ability to apply that knowledge to solve real-world and local community challenges. Through inquiry-based and project-based learning, I encourage students to think critically, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and approach challenges creatively.

I am particularly passionate about helping students understand how technology can be used as a force for good. Many of my projects are connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging students to think globally while acting locally.

As technology continues to evolve, particularly through advancements in artificial intelligence, I believe it is essential to prepare students not only with technical knowledge but also with the critical thinking, creativity, adaptability, and ethical awareness needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time in nature – whether hiking in the mountains, exploring forests and rivers, travelling, or discovering new cultures and perspectives. I am also passionate about emerging technologies and innovation and enjoy continually expanding my knowledge in these areas.

My goal is to help students become confident learners, future leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and responsible global citizens who use their knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
