2021 -2022

Important dates at the
beginning of the school year

August 30th & 31st

Individual online meetings (via Zoom) between class teachers and the new families joining the community this year. Parents will be contacted by phone to schedule the meeting.

September 1st

All our staff will be ready to greet the children for their first day of nursery school. The arrival and departure time frames will be communicated during next week.

Mid September

The first meeting with parents will take place online. During this meeting you will find relevant information about the organisation of the entire school year, the schedule and the educational team of your child.

We invite you to access the Avenor Calendar to see the structure of the school year and the holidays of our students.

Formation of the Parents' Committee in
the new school year

We thank the parents who are part of the Committee and who ensure a good communication between the school and the parents’ community every year. At the parent teacher meeting in September you will be invited to select the class representative during this school year.

Communication at Avenor Nursery

THE OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION is sent to the parents through the Engage Portal.

We invite you to download the Engage Application which will allow you to use this tool more easily, directly from your mobile phone. You can download the Engage School App from Google Play or the App Store. For the first login, you will need to enter the school ID: AVE368. The User ID and Password are the ones you use to log in to the Engage Portal.

THE EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION will be sent through direct messages from teachers or coordinators.

At the beginning of each monthly learning module, you will receive a Note to Parents document. This includes very important details highlighting various activities designed to follow the areas of learning of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary Framework for Key Stage 1, Year 1. It also includes some key aspects related to how Learning Outside the Classroom & Events are integrated to support the learning objectives of the areas of learning.

ASSESSMENT REPORTS will be available on the Engage Portal.

The academic situation of each student will be discussed individually with each family during the designated Parent Teacher Meeting or upon request at any time in the consultation program of our teachers.
