Mathematics Teacher

Avenor College is welcoming a knowledgeable, passionate Teacher of Mathematics to contribute to the teaching of Mathematics from KS3 to A Level. Applicants should be qualified Mathematics teachers, ready to work with KS3-5 students. Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply and complete with us the ECT programme.

We have fully resourced rooms in a new state-of-the-art Senior building. The college offers varied opportunities for personal and professional development through a model that gives teachers voice, choice, and agency.

At A Level, our students study the CAIE 9709 curriculum, after having studied the CAIE 0580 Mathematics syllabus. Our Key Stage 3 provision has a small Romanian national strand for a minority of students, while most of our students follow the Cambridge checkpoint, taking the external examination at the end of Grade 8. The results, alongside other indicators, are a testimony of the successful implementation of the Mathematics learning programme.

Timescale:

  • Closing date: January 15th, 2026;

  • First-round interviews will be conducted online;
  • Final interviews for shortlisted candidates will be individually arranged;
