Every year we welcome the parents of students who join our school at Avenor College. In an informal meeting, senior parents in the Avenor community, along with teachers and members of the management team, answer questions and help them integrate more easily into the student-parent-teacher community at Avenor College.

Every year, we proudly and respectfully celebrate the Avenor Awards winners: Brightest Star, Honorary Students and Avenor Fellows. Avenor Awards are given to students who, during the school year, have had excellent academic results and have been role models, attitudes and involvement for their peers and for our entire community.

Organized at the end of the first month of school, Avenor Forest Run promotes the movement as a lifestyle and aims to raise funds for charitable projects. Participants – children, parents, teachers – take part in the races organized by age categories, assisted by an enthusiastic team of volunteers – students of Avenor College. Romsilva is a partner of this event.

These days are an opportunity for all Avenor students to raise awareness of the bullying phenomenon. Avenor counselors coordinate special activities to cover this topic, and involve students in discussions and debates.

What could be more beautiful than organizing a Christmas fair? Our high school students work with great passion on a charity event-project that annually fills the campus with avenorians eager to contribute to a good deed. The event is also a great opportunity to socialize.

All Avenor students prepare an artistic gift for their parents, which they offer at the end of the calendar year. From pregătitoare to grade 8, each class presents a theater, music and dance performance.

Before the winter holidays, the Avenor College campus is adorned with celebration and resounds with wishes and carols. During breaks, the teachers go around the school carrolling and inviting the students to join them. And at the end of the day, we all gather – students, teachers, parents – on the sports field and sing together.

Parents of our students have the opportunity to see our school in “action” during the “Open Days” program for grades 2-12. Members of our community can attend and even actively participate in some of the classes in their children’s timetable. They enjoy sharing with parents their daily experiences.

Organizing an annual Science Fair at Avenor College gives elementary and middle school students the opportunity to be involved in research projects and work in teams. Children create experiments, investigate hypotheses, make predictions, measurements and calculations and reach conclusions that they present to colleagues and teachers. For the middle school students, a project competition is organized, judged by specialists.

Hundreds of art works made by children aged 6 to 18 within the artistic project “Work in progress” are exhibited annually for a week in the art gallery at the headquarters of UniCredit Bank on Exhibition Boulevard. The exhibition project is organized by Avenor College and has a different theme each year.

The annual swimming competition organized by Avenor College brings together competitors aged between 6 and 18 from several schools in Bucharest. It is an event in which participants show fair play, which encourages team spirit and collegiality.
